IKK Mateenbar, is a joint venture between New Zealand Pultron Composites Company and the Isam Khairi Kabbani Group (IKK), to establish the first Glass Fiber Reinforced Polymer (GFRP) rebar factory in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Initiated by Saudi Aramco to promote sustainable solutions, IKK Mateenbar prides itself on innovative processes, producing GFRP rebar as a corrosion-free alternative to steel reinforcement. Launched in 2020, this factory pioneers GFRP technology in the kingdom’s construction industry, aligning with Saudi Arabia’s localization efforts and sustainability goals for a resilient future.
